HEARING CONSERVATION PROGRAM ASSESSMENT
As outlined in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hearing Conservation Amendment (29 CFR 1910.95), employees exposed to hazardous noise levels must be included in a continuing, effective Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) provided by the employer. The key to a successful HCP is the integration of all HCP components: noise measurement, engineering controls, audiometric testing, education and training, hearing protection, record keeping, and program evaluation. Whether developing a new HCP or assessing an existing program, please consult our certified audiologist. Our areas of expertise include database management, referral criterion, communication and audiological assessment, hearing protection device evaluation, educational presentations for employees and support personnel, OSHA compliance and record keeping, noise measurement and engineering controls. For the protection of employees as well as employers, it is critical to have current, accurate information regarding hearing conservation and noise management.
